Liz Penang One Day Trip

last week, got 1 US engineer who named Liz, come over Spansion Penang.
my friend, Lih Miin who take the responsibility to bring her travel around Penang island during this weekend.
thanks to Kin Hoe, who provided us transportation
and, i as lousy tour guider, who prepare the trip plan in last minute... haha... hope we got a very wonderful day.

here we go!!!
after the breakfast at home, i get myself ready at 9am. waiting for them to pick me up.

our first destination is Youth Park,
follow the path, we introduce the statue of our Nation warrior, Hang Tuah to Liz.
we saw a cute doggie and a boy playing with the doggie.
no doubt, i dunno what the name for the flower we saw near to pond.... (*shame*)
taking the foot massage path, kind of healthy exercise rite?

after Youth Park, we go further to Botanical Garden,
unfortunately, i didnt take any photo of it
for me, it always the same, change nothing but the ice cream seller near to the main gate is impressed me
why i said so?
he can talk well in hokkien, mandarin(he graduated from Chung Ling High Sch-One of the famous boy sch in Penang), malay, tamil(no doubt, he is indian!!!) , arab???!!! yes, he did..... and many many more.....
btw, the ice cream is cheap and delicious! RM1 each....
shud go support him la......

after Botanical Garden, we go fo rlunch at New Cathay Kopitiam, she got herbal tea, chicken rice(her famous wor) and Chu Cheong Fan....

then follow by laying buddha temple and the temple opposite it...


after temples..... we go for money changer and pass throught little india,
due to the hot + sunny day, we decided to go for OKIO.... seem like she very like local food..... haha

now we move on to a place i never been before, KHOO Kongsi.
OMG, Khoo Kongsi is so Grand
a lot of visitors,
the place is very clean,
the wall craft is very impress me. such a fine art work....

after the Khoo Kongsi,
we go to 1 of the famous tourism spot in penang, Kok Lok Si Temple.
before walk up to the hill.... we bring her to try our Penang Famous Local food, Laksa....
actually this is my second time to take Laksa at Kek Lok Si there.... too far for me to take it in normal day.
one thing very disappointed, the Kuan Yin Statue is under renovation, only can look from very far distance.

after visited to Kek Lok Si Temple, we plan to take dinner,
but Liz suddenly not feeling well, we have to drop her back for rest
so i call up my friend to take dinner.....
hope she is getting well soon and we had a very trip rite?
i am so tired, energy exhausted
