Sony or Pioneer

recently i was thinking to buy a new home theater set.
i don't listen to the noise-ful and clear-less sound from my PC desk speaker since it's 4-5 years old
somehow, it's a free gift when i subscribed 1 year magazine.

i wish to enjoy a better sound quality when relaxing,
now i got 2 options
first choice from Sony,

Second choice from Pioneer
both give me the same price but i prefer the Pioneer down firing subwoofer and the Sony design & features, as my friend say, Sony is easier to get the replacement parts when come to any problem.

i need an advise and comment!!!
