Botanical Garden 2008

just share some of the flower shot out in botanical garden in this evening
first outing with my friend who just back for UK and bought a new LENS
nikon 16-85mm VR, UV filters, CPL filter... haha... a lot more to go la...
now i thinking whether wan to get the lowepro sling bag or not...
RM190, which same price with my current backpack
but.. i seriously need a sling back for easier photography.

aiks....
i suppose to finish my PCB today and get myself free for coming days....
but....
i did some mistaken
it's BIG mistaken

just because i missed out a GND track in my pcb design...
yup... just a track, just a mistake can cause a big consequences
why i said so?
because i already fabricated 3 set of these so called 'mistake' design.

i need to buy a new developer, a new chloride asid and a new UV board...
waste time waste money and energy ( to shake the pcb when etching, hehe)

sumhow, the new 3 set of PCB is ready for drill, and solder and to be test soon...
my project completed.... it's time to prepare report....


oh... my mind thinking of why suddenly i found many flaw of inti college, new building
how come inti standard like getting worst and worst from time to time....
my friend is complaining to me about the gate of main entrance

i dunno what is going on with the gate but one thing can be sure is the cars congestion during peak time, every day when i have late class until 6pm, i will always stuck in queue for 15mins just to get out from inside to out of the gate of INTI.... what the hell is that? even rounding my housing area also no need 15mins la.

and what.... the car from main road is driving toward us very fast in speed and during that time, the sun light is kinda hard for those driver to see is there any car coming out from the exit gate or not, if so, they wont slow down anyway.... sumore the sight is blocked by the stupid guard house which build for useless guard....
i wonder why the guard don't want try to help the student?
dont ask me how, but there is still a way

since the new building started, there is 3 accident happened in front of the gate....
what can i say for it.... SAFE?? yeah, if u still inside the compound....
sob sob~!....

Important Message

i receive this msg through email
and i found it got the point to share here

Be careful how you list names on your cell phone! Be Safe!

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile phone, Credit card, purse...etc.... was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her Hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened. Hubby says 'I've just received your sms text asking about our Pin number. I replied a little while ago.'

They rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

The lesson:
Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.
Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Dad, Mum etc.......
And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru texts, CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.


hmm... in case you might used to choose those NAME, then DO NOT LET OUT YOUR PIN NUMBER EVEN YOUR CLOSEST ONE.. :)

the reason make me sick
she prefer a lighter camera...

Bad Luck

bad luck!! bad luck....

why recently my luck is so bad.....
since last week until today

i bang my car to the post while i looking at the other side
the side signal bulb broken
replace a new bulb in pair cost me RM35
i have to pay it and from my own pocket

i wasted 2 small pieces of UV PCB
when i get my thing ready to expose under the sun
the weather turn to cloudy and it cause the track disperse
without a solid line
the etching cannot be done
the track is over lapping to each other

i cut my finger twice

arrgh.... i cannot make my mind bright and clear
symptom of getting old?

anyway, i had tried out some tele-lens today
canon EFS 55-250mm IS
and
sigma APO 70-300mm
from the focal length itself, i prefer sigma because it have a longer focal length and from what the boss, uncle chua told me, APO is a good lens, isn't?
because of some extra coating on the lens and the color is look greater than canon.

from the feature itself, i prefer canon due to the image stabilizer
finally i experience how the IS thing works,
it quite obvious if zoom out to maximum.

both min focus distance is almost the same,
for canon is 1.1meter, as written there
for sigma is 1.3meter, from my experience

but sigma come with macro mode, duh...
these 2 lens price is quite attractive
haiz.... but i wan UWA wor.... how?

TELE, MACRO, UWA..... i want all!!!

my classmates, are in Project Mood
rush for final year project....
can see them carrying toolbox around
purchase, test, record non stop

my friends, are in Exam Mood
prepare for semester exam
few of them are in final semester
read, revive, memorize

it's time to start my FYP as well
i wan to finish in 3 week times,

Project Lab, i can list down the item can be found in the lab.
and those items is Rubbish, Useless
even my own workshop is much more useful than project lab.
we are paying resource fee, and this so called 'Under Renovating' workshop is not ready for those students taking project.

喜欢及讨厌一个人需要理由吗?喜欢又或者是讨厌,都是一种再也奇妙不过的东西.当感觉出现,有理说不清,剪不断理还乱,还不如选择不说还好
喜欢一个人,那怕他的样子平淡过白开水,说话不善词令,你还是很喜欢跟他交朋友甚至当情侣的感觉;
相反的,讨厌一个人,就算他样貌称得上所谓帅 哥美女'知书识理一族,但又如何?还是很难讨好自己欢心,那怕是他是否曾经踩到自己的尾巴.或者他只是个生命中的过客.

end of the photo session.... everyone 'sao tong', tidy up their weapon....

one of the funny situation observe by my cousin brother is whenever there is a model walk toward us, all the camera will face up, however when the model turn around,
all the camera is face downward, and again... ALL UP.... at the same time....
cool!!! this only happen in such a big event like this...
i didn't participate this model photograph contest as i am still newbie to DSLR yet no experience in portrait photography.
anyway, this is a good experience for me to learn....

What i learn from this event is:
1. The white balance is not really good adjusted as i set it to Daylight WB, a bit yellow
2. Position is important due to line of sight to the stage.
3. 6GB capacity of memory cards is not enough for non-stop hour event due to continuous shots.
4. Tele-lens and External Flash is needed for better composition of the photos
